My Experience:

Education, Work and Life

I graduated from Missouri State University in 1991 with a degree in Communications and minor in pre-law. I went to law school at the University of Missouri-Columbia and graduated in 1994. I worked as a general civil litigation trial attorney in Missouri for more than 20 years.

After experiencing many of life’s ups and downs, I wanted a new focus. So, I began studying at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in 2018, receiving my health coach certification in early 2019. Since then, I’ve continued my education through advanced IIN courses, with a seven-month Emotional Emotional Eating psychology course and a five-month Gut Health course.

Looking back, it was all serendipitous. As an attorney, they call you a “counselor at law,” or “counselor” for short. And for good reason. Working with clients is really a type of counseling. As a general practice trial attorney for over 20 years, I worked with all kinds of clients from different backgrounds and in various degrees of crisis, where somebody is being sued or suing someone else.

Everything I’ve experienced, everything I’ve studied, everything I’ve worked for has led me up to this point. I’m ready to help.

The question is, are you?
